Can you act? Do you want be part of our local history?!!
Medway Council are looking for actors to take part in an exciting film project telling the story of the Battle of Medway – a 17th century conflict between the English and Dutch navies. The finished film will form part of our spectacular commemoration events in June.
We are looking for male actors, between the ages of 30 and 50, to play key speaking roles in the film, as well as numerous non-speaking and ‘extras’ roles.
This will be a voluntary commitment, however Medway Council will pay your expenses and provide refreshments during the filming. All costumes, make-up, script and direction will be provided by the film company.
The filming will take place between 27 and 31 March, however you would not be required everyday. A full shooting schedule will be given to you to enable you to arrange leave from your place of work.
If you are interested and think you would be suitable for any of the roles please send you details and a recent photograph to malcolm.wright@medway.gov.uk by Friday 24 February. If you are selected for consideration you will be called for a brief meeting with the production team one evening during the week of 27 February where final casting will be decided.
